Pinecone Damascus Smallsword – coming in at just 291 grams, this is a first from Glittering Edge Ltd
With a blade length of 74cm and 89.5cm overall length this smallsword features a flexible blade created from Zladinox damascus steel. This steel has a subtle layer count shown throughout the blade. This is incredibly difficult to bring out as a characteristic in Zladinox.
The blade measures 1.5cm wide at the guard with a narrow, single fuller along each side of the slender blade. The point of balance is about 8cm down the blade with a more ridgid tip from about 10cm from the point
The resin stabilised Stonepine pinecone grip sourced from Spain along the Camino del Santiago
Furnished with a cast bronze Jacobs armoury hilt #5 which is also aged up.
The sheath is Scottish tanned deer hide, featuring an aged copper chape & throat, the later of which features a carved pinecone on the metal belt hook
